In a few days the aircraft will leave the Boeing assembly building in Everett near Seattle. The manufacturer will then carry out some final work and checks before the aircraft takes off on its maiden flight and is subsequently subjected to the formal approval process by the SWISS specialists.

The team from Switzerland responsible for accepting the brand-new aircraft will check it down to the finest detail over a period of several days. The decisive test here will be the approximately 3½-hour acceptance flight under the supervision of Yves Dissler, the technical pilot of the Boeing 777 fleet.

The acceptance of an aircraft straight from the factory takes place under the strictest supervisory regulations. And this exciting and highly complex process is usually conducted behind closed doors.

With its tenth Boeing 777, however, SWISS is offering the opportunity to follow the acceptance procedure “up close and personal” on this website. Look over the shoulders of the acceptance team, familiarize yourself with the Boeing 777 production site and discover all kinds of further interesting details about this latest addition to the SWISS long-haul fleet.

In fact, with a bit of luck, the acceptance of the tenth SWISS Boeing 777 could turn into an unforgettable experience for you. Don't want to miss out on this incredible opportunity? Then stay tuned. We'll be sending you an email shortly with details of what you have to do in order to join the team in Seattle.

I sat in 23K on a 12 hour flight from Zurich to Singapore. The seat was comfortable thanks it is an emergency exit seat, standard seats are a little bit narrow for your legs.
The IFE's were very responsive and I liked the games they provide. Movies and shows selection are not bad.

The food was very good and tasty.
SWISS provide a blaket, a pillow and some earphones, the blanket was alright but the pillow was way to small for a 12 hour flight. The earphones are like those ones nobody will never use.Swiss
I had a really good experience with SWISS and I would recomend them.
